I've been waiting for this moment for a very long time. I've always dreamt of seeing Roger Hodgson in concert to hear all of my favorite songs. I heard that Roger would be coming in Canada 3 days before his first performance. I was very excited and surprised that I just couldn't believe it. Roger was giving one concert for the press and one concert for the fans in Toronto and Montreal. I had decided to take the week off to be able to assist to everyone of Roger's concerts. I arrived in Toronto 6 hours before his concert at the Reverb club. I heard on the radio that Roger would be giving an interview in that same station. It is then that I decided to go to the radio station 15 minutes before the interview. I was anxiously waiting and a few minutes later, I saw Roger arrived with his guitar. I spoke to his wife Karuna first who introduced me to Roger. I was a little bit nervous because I know that my english is not very good and I knew that this meeting was a very big moment in my life. It went well and I told them that I was very happy to finally meet them in person. Roger and Karuna are very good people. I had the opportunity to speak to them a lot and to spend time with them. The two concerts in Toronto were really wonderful and magical. I had the chance to hear all of my favorite songs. I also saw Roger perform three concerts in Montreal. A total of five amazing and phenominal concerts. Every concerts was even better than the others. After the last concert in Montreal, Roger stayed for an hour to meet and give autographs for the fans. These days were very special for me. It was like a big dream. The meeting with my idol was more than incredible, it was magical, joyful, amazing and full of emotion.
Roger and Karuna, thanks for giving me this opportunity. Let your kindness and generosity be given back to you. Now I can sincerely say, from the bottom of my heart, that the day that I met Roger was really the best day of my life.
