| Kate Bligh - Artistic Director
A freelance director, Kate is artistic director and founder of
les productions temenos. She recently dramaturged Danser à Lughnasa for the Théâtre du Nouveau
Monde and is also working on the adaptation of a Creole/French novel, Solibo Magnifique, into a two-man play. Last year she undertook the
translation into English and adaptation of Baki and the Crocodiles, a franco-African play for children. Kate is also involved in an
ongoing workshop/research project which combines the performance methods of Jerzy Grotowski with the movement analysis of Rudolph Laban.

Elaine Normandeau - Directrice générale
An Assistant Director and Stage Manager by training, Elaine Normandeau
works both in English and in French in theatre and in opera. During the upcoming season, apart from her duties with temenos
of which she is a founding member, she will be working at the Compagnie Jean-Duceppe, at the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, at the
National Arts Centre, at the Canadian Opera Company and at l'Espace Libre with Ubu, compagnie de création.
