Henri Thibodeau is a graduate from Concordia University (Montréal, Canada) in Communication Studies (cum laude).

Over the course of his career, Henri has acquired a solid experience in journalism, writing, translation and edition, with a focus on the world of business.

For a second year in a row, Henri has been selected as Chairman of the Urban Planning Advisory Committee for the Municipality of Sainte-Croix de Lotbinière. Henri was previously Secretary-Treasurer of Sainte-Croix's Chamber of Commerce.

Over the last few years, Henri has taken a step back from journalism and freelance reporting to pursue an interest in translation and the business world. Henri has provided his translation services to such organizations as Combined Insurance Company of America, Al-Anon Family Groups, Grolier (Scholastics) and Vivavision Group.

Camping and Tourism Industry

Aside from working as a freelance writer and translator, Henri worked for 10 years as administrator for Camping Belle-Vue, in Sainte-Croix de Lotbinière (Québec).

This four-star campground received numerous awards for outstanding customer service and the quality of its installations.

In 2009, Camping Belle-Vue was awarded no less than three Excellence Awards by Camping Québec (Quebec's campgrounds association) , in the Marketing, Business Management and Builder categories.

Camping Belle-Vue's website was designed and maintained by Henri Thibodeau.

In 2010, was sold to a group of investors and transformed into a private resort.

Ferme Gypsy du Platon

Henri also designed the webpage for Ferme Gypsy du Platon, which is a neighbor and close partner to Camping Belle-Vue.

Ferme Gypsy du Platon is a raiser of Gypsy Vanners horses and an ecological grower of garden produce.

Book Retail Industry

Before joining Camping Belle-Vue's team, Henri Thibodeau worked as a manager for Chapters bookstores in both Langley, British Columbia, and St. Catharine's, Ontario. Henri was in charge of the multimedia, computers and fiction departments.

Now Chapters Indigo, this is one of Canada’s major book retailers, with bookstores across the country: Toronto, Halifax, Montréal, Vancouver et Calgary, etc.

Web Design

Aside from designing his own website and that of Camping Belle-Vue, Henri Thibodeau also designed the website for Camp-école d'équitation La Licorne.

Located in Sainte-Croix de Lotbinière, La Licorne is a horse riding summer camp for kids aged 7 to 16.
