For several years, Henri Thibodeau wrote as a freelance reporter for some of Québec’s most prestigious publications, such as Les Affaires and COMMERCE magazine.

Over the last few years, Henri moved away from journalism and reporting. He has worked as a professional translator for such organizations as Combined Insurance Company of America, Al-Anon Family Groups, Vivavision Group and Grolier, publisher of the Book of Knowledge.

Le Livre de l’année - GROLIER

From 1987 to 2009, Henri has made regular contributions to the Livre de l’année, the French Canadian edition of the Book of Knowledge’s annual update. The Book of Knowledge was published by Grolier, a member of the Scholastic group of publishers. The publisher stopped publishing this book after the 2009 edition.

L'infirmière, by Pierre Noury

In 1993, Henri revised and edited an original manuscript by author Pierre Noury: L’infirmière.

Henri then went forward and published this book under the banner of his own publishing house, Éditions de l’Aurore.

This is the autobiographic story of a young man who is hospitalized without much hope of getting out alive. However, a young nurse refuses to give up on him, and a miracle happens – twice over...

Simon the ManKar, by Garry Leblanc

This inspirational tale authored by Garry Leblanc and edited by Henri Thibodeau was published in 2005 by PublishAmerica, from Frederick, Maryland.

Simon meets a mysterious being, who kindly offers his assistance in helping him rediscover his true self so he may find the joy and peace of mind which have been eluding him. This is a challenging and rewarding story, for Simon and reader alike. It questions our beliefs regarding sin, forgiveness, and the origin of our guilt.
