Musillusion Inc. / Société de Musique Viennoise du Québec
Musillusion (a non-profit organization) is involved in promoting Viennese traditional music from the 19th century (Alt-Wien). As the producer, the company has organized the Festival de Musique Viennoise des Laurentides since 1993, and more recently, the activities of the Société de Musique Viennoise du Québec. Our various ensembles which use original Viennese instrumentation include the Trio Kaffeehaus, L'ensemble Johann Schrammel and L'ensemble Strauss-Lanner de Montréal. These musicians have obtained international recognition for the quality of their performances and their knowledge of the Viennese music style.

The "Festival de musique viennoise des Laurentides"
has presented more
than 100 concerts of Viennese music since 1993, performed by
musicians from Canada and Austria. These concerts are presented in
Laurentian churches, concert halls and restaurants (see
list
of our guests).
This Festival offers the public the rare opportunity to listen to
original Viennese
Schrammelmusik
and to attend a genuine Viennese Ball outside of Europe where one can
dance all the old Viennese dances. It takes place every year during
September and October.
