Opening of a new guitar school in Montréal.

The Académie de Guitare Flamenca is directed by guitarists Roger Lapierre and Michael Beauchamp, who are also the co-founders of the group Tradición Flamenca.

The concept is that of a group class where instruction is given in turn by the two professors. Roger Lapierre has over 45 years of experience in the flamenco world, both here and abroad. Michel Beauchamp holds a Conservatory first prize in classical guitar and has been teaching guitar for over 25 years. These two approaches complement one another, thus giving an unprecedented richness to the teaching provided at the Académie.

The 12 weeks Autumn session will begin on Thursday, 1 October 2009 and end Thursday, December 17, 2009.

The class duration is 2 hours (i.e. : from 19h00 to 21h45 )
(there will be a 15 minutes break).

The classes will be held at 5535b, Chapleau street Montreal.

The registration cost for the Fall session is $350.
