The fundamental reasons for that need have been identified
as the end result of a line of research initiated by
Ivan Pavlov,
Nobel prize in 1904. That research has been continued by
doctor Paul Chauchard, director of research at l'École des
Hautes-Études in France in the fifties.
The cogitation effort required to completely integrate the explanation of the thought
process is important, but the intellectual payoff in all directions is worth the effort
a hundredfold.
Regarding education at the pre-school and elementary school level for example, the resulting
understanding could allow the person having it to personally clearly analyze and define how the
teaching methods should be adjusted to allow the GREAT MAJORITY of children to stop having
learning difficulties. That person could then confidently base a contribution to the bettering
of those teaching methods on an objective and stable set of criteria.
