29.04.2007 Adam is 1 month old / Adam a 1 mois

    Time has flown by

    Adam is 1 month old.

    We have had some sleepless night

     But I am sure we'll be all fine

    In a beautiful summer time.

29.03.2007; 8:18 pm. The day where Adam came          

    We came to the hospital at 7:30 am and Adam was born at 8:18 pm. It was quite an   adventure since Adam just did not want to come out, every time the medical team tried  to force him out by injecting the provoking's liquid, Adam's heart beating was slowing down, obviously there was something  he did not like. The physician finally came at 7 pm, she felt something strange obstructing Adam to the way down to the world. Within 5 min, she decided  we had no choice but a caesarean. Papa joint Maman in the operating room 15 min later, the operation was on its way. Maman's eyes were closed and she was so exhausted. Five minutes later, there was a strong crying, welcome to the world Adam, said Papa  to himself! It was 8:18 pm. Adam's weight was 2,755 kg and his height was exactly 50 cm. 

    I was sleeping with Grand-Ma for 3 nights, it was fun but I missed Maman alot. I came to visit Adam every day at the hospital. The first day was quite a nice surprise, for the first time in my life, I don't feel like the center of the universe anymore! But I adore Adam, he is kind of cute and I am sure we will have some more fun for a lifetime.

24.12.2006     Merry Christmas / Joyeux Noël

    It is not a quite white Christmas this year! We have had snow for at least the last 20 years as far as we know, but not this year! We still remember when we first came to Montreal 20 years ago in 1986, the first snow was on Nov the 2nd! Oh well, 2006 has been quite a warm winter so far actually which is good! Let's see what happen to the last 2 months of this year's winter! Anyway, we had an awesome Christmas party and I had a lot of gifts, I like them all and thank you! I even received some gifts from the Santa Clause from the U.S.A! Guess who! You can find the pictures of the party here...

    Ce n'est pas l'hiver le plus froid au Québec cette année. Nous n'avons pas connu un Noël sans neige depuis belle lurette. Nous nous souvenons il y a 20 ans quand nous sommes arrivés à Montréal en 1986, la première neige était vue au 2 nov, c'était impresionnant. En tout cas, nous avons eu un party de Noël super auquel j'ai eu beaucoup de cadeaux, je les aime tous et un gros merci. J'ai même recu des cadeaux du Père Noël des U.S.A. Devinez qui c'est? 26.11.2006    My second year picture/ Photo de ma 2e année maternelle

    Yup I have been certainly growing up. My hair got longer and  darker, my weight is heavier (14kg now). But one thing remains the same is that scary face against the photographer. I am not quite comfortable in front of the camera yet.

    Oui j'ai beaucoup grandi depuis l'an passé. Mes cheveux sont plus longs et plus noirs! Et je me pèse 14kg maintenant. Une chose qui n'est pas changée est mon regard vers le photographe, c'est plutot étrange, j'ai toujours peur de lui!

10.10.2006 Festival de couleur à Mont-Tremblant

    C'était une journée superbe! Il faisait beau et chaud, Nous sommes allés à Mont-Tremblant. C'est la première fois que j'ai pris l'autobus pour aller du stationement jusqu'en haut. Je me suis offerte un papillon vert et jaune en baloon. Monsieur était drole et gentil!

    It was a beautiful sunshine day. We went to Mont-Tremblant. I got on the bus for the 1st time for 5 min. They also offered me a green butterfly that I carried on my back. That was an unforgettable day.

 01.09.2006 A surprised visit from U.S.A / Une visite surprise des Etats-Unis

    I love my new friend and cousin Christine from New Jersey. She cared a lot about me! I missed her a lot too, my parents told me that the USA is far away but I will call her by telephone no problem! And I will come to visit her one day. That is a promise ! 

    J'adore ma nouvelle amie et cousine Christine de New Jersey. Elle prend soin de moi très bien. Elle me manque beaucoup après leur départ pour les Etats-Unis, un pays lointain, mais c'est pas grave je peux lui parler au telephone et j'irai la visiter un jour, c'est promis!

26.08.2006    It has been 5 years.../ 5 ans déjà!

    Today, we celebrate my parents' 5th anniversary of  marriage. That was great that everybody could gather together for a good evening meal, that was almost unreal. We also celebrate our new house, and last but not least is the news I want to keep for myself:  I am so happy that I am not going to be the only child!  Oh yeah, looks like we will have a new member of our family in April next year and his (her I bet) name is Lulu!

    Aujourd'hui, nous fêtons la 5e anniversaire de mariage de mes parents, nous fêtons aussi notre nouvelle maison. C'était fantastique que tout le monde y était sans rendez-vous. Mais la plus belle nouvelle pour moi est que je ne serai pas fille unique! Eh oui, nous attendons avec impatience l'arrivée de Lulu, devinez si c'est une fille ou un garcon! J'ai déjà gagé ma mise! Pauvre Papa!

 

 

 

 

 

 

09.07.2006  Swimming pool time / l'heure de la piscine!

    We have moved to our new house and we go swimming everyday! The water is pretty cold (24 C) but good enough for a swim. I like water alot and I feel hungry and eat a lot every time which makes my Mom pretty happy too! Before that, my dad was watching the World Cup final between Italy and France and he won the Bet with his 20-y long time friend and GM THT! A surprise is comming...   

21.05.2006    My First/premier Party

    C'était mon premier party ou j'assistais à un mariage. Je me suis endormie dans la voiture et me suis réveillée au milieu du party, la boufe était bonne, j'ai mangé mes mets favoris: Cantonese fried noodle & Fried rice. Je me suis promenée et fait plein d'ami(e)s. Nous sommes rentrés vers 10 pm.

A part de ca, je sais maintenant comment faire pipi et caca assie sur le pot, j'adore ca et j'ai réussi 4 fois jusqu'à date! un exploit n'est-ce pas? mon papa est très fier de moi!

    This is my favorite position of sitting! I enjoy playing chess in the basement with my father almost everyday! Am I going to be any good? Other than that, I always love my Wouf-wouf, can't leave without her!

29.03.2006  My new friend Hypotam/ Mon nouvel ami Hypo

    Here I am again! Spring has shown up and I keep growing up! It has been a while that I haven't touched the chess pieces, I know all the names now: Queen, King, Knight, Bishop and Pawn.  I also know how to clean up the board!

    Heads-up: we will move this summer and I will have my new room, looks like I will have to sleep by myself!

                                                                                                            10.01.2006 Happy New Year / Bonne Année 2006

    Je vous souhaite une bonne et heureuse année 2006! Le nouvel an vietnamien viendra le 29 janvier avec l'année du Chien qui est le signe de mon Papa!

Nous avons mangé le gateau du roi et je suis le roi (ou plutot la reine) de ma petite famille. Aujourd'hui, il y a 17 ans, mon Papa et toute sa famille sont devenus les canadiens . Le Canada est donc devenu notre deuxième pays et c'est le meilleur pays au monde. Nous en sommes très reconnaissants!

    I wish you all the best for the new year! The Vietnamese new year will begin on Jan 29 with the year of the Dog.

We also ate the King traditional cake and yeah I got the King hat and therefore became the 2006 Queen of my family, my dad and mom must now follow my order! 

This day also marks the 17th anniversary of the Canadian Citizenship of my dad's family.
